Kicking Off Things Early, Dallas Wings Back Home To Take On Los Angeles Sparks

ARLINGTON, TX- The Dallas Wings fell on the road to the New York Liberty Saturday afternoon 102-93. Breanna Stewart had 32 points and Sabrina Ionescu added 22 to help get the win for New York. 

The Dallas Wings were led by Arike Ogunbowale with 25 points and Satou Sabally added 17 points and 11 rebounds. 

The Wings were up by six going into the half but were unable maintain the lead in the third quarter. New York was able to score 34 points to Dallas’s 17 in the third quarter and from there it was New York’s.

Satou Sabally was able to compete against her sister Nyara Sabally for the first time in their careers.

UP NEXT- This afternoon the Dallas Wings returned home to take on the Los Angeles Sparks. 

Los Angeles is coming off of a loss to the Minnesota Lynx in a close matchup 91-86. Lexie Brown knocked down a 3-pointer that gave them a 83-72 lead with 3 minutes remaining but Minnesota’s Rachel Banham answered back with a good 3-pointer that led them to their victory.

Dallas remains defeated at home and will look to protect home court against Los Angeles. Tip-off is at 12 PM.
