The Dallas Wings Look For Redemption Against The Seattle Storm After Their First Loss At Home

ARLINGTON, TX- The Dallas Wings will take homecourt Saturday afternoon against the Seattle Storm.

The last time Dallas took the court they fell 18-points behind the Los Angeles Sparks, 79-61. What got them in the matchup with LA was missing chip shots and too many turnovers.

Seattle Storm (2-7) are coming off of a 96-63 loss against the Las Vegas Aces (9-1). Ezi Magbegor led Seattle with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Thursday morning the Dallas Wings team announced that Crystal Dangerfield is cleared and set to make her return during Saturday’s matchup which also means they had to say goodbye to Odyssey Sims.

Head Coach Latricia Trammell said Odyssey played a huge role and hopes this is not their last time crossing paths.

“I am an Odyssey Sims fan. I love her game,” said Coach Trammell. “I hope our paths cross again. She deserves to be in this league.”

Coach Trammell said she can’t go wrong with either one of them (Odyssey Sims and Crystal Dangerfield) but she’s excited for what Dangerfield will bring to the Wings game.

“Crystal is a impact player. Point guard as well, that can score from multiple levels,” said Trammell. “I’m so honored and blessed that Crystal is back and she’s excited to be back. She looked extremely good today.”

These two teams will go head-to-head at College Park Arena. Tip-off is at 1 PM.
