Iowa State managed to get 29 points from TCU’s turnovers, more points than TCU was able to get on the board within the 1st half.

Iowa State guard Curtis Jones said ball pressure is something they emphasized throughout practice leading up to facing TCU.

“We preach ball pressure, and we consistently work on it in practice, and I think it got to them.”

The Horned Frogs ended the 1st half down by 18 points, 44-26.

TCU had a 7-0 start to the second half, but Cyclones quickly came back and dominated, forcing turnovers and gaining a 20-point lead. `

The Frogs managed to make their way back on the board at 2:19, making it a six-point game and cut down their turnovers to nine in the 2nd half.

The Frogs now 13-5 will prepare to hit the road again to face Oklahoma State on Tuesday at 8 p.m. Tip-off is at Gallagher -Iba Arena and can be streamed on ESPN+.
