Mavericks Acquired Forward P.J. Washington From The Hornets

DALLAS, TEXAS — The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have acquired forward P.J. Washington and two second-round picks from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for forward Grant Williams, guard Seth Curry and a top-two protected 2027 first-round pick.

Washington (6-7, 230) has appeared in 44 games (17 starts) with the Hornets this season and is averaging 13.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks per game while shooting 44.6% from the field. In his 17 starts, he averaged 14.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.6 blocks per game.
