DALLAS, TEXAS — It’s a Texas showdown; the Houston Rockets are heading 3 hours north to take on the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center.
While the Mavericks hope to extend their winning streak, the Houston Rockets are attempting to snap a four-game losing streak. You have to return to the 2010–11 championship season to find a greater run than Dallas’ current 13–1 record.
After PJ Washington’s 32-point night over the Golden State Warriors, the Mavs will look to lean on him for offensive production as well as defensively for rebounds.
The Houston Rockets, on the other hand, will look to guard Jalen Green to lead the way offensively after registering 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists against the Heat.
Luka Doncic is listed as questionable, as is Maxi Kleber with back spasms. Dereck Lively II is ruled out, as is Josh Green.
What’s at stake? With four games remaining, a victory by the Mavericks could give them a commanding lead in their division and place them three games ahead of the Pelicans.
Tip off is set for 2:30pm on Sunday in the American Airlines Center.
