PHOENIX, AZ — Arike Ogunbowale delivered an outstanding performance, scoring a season-high 40 points to lead the Dallas Wings to a remarkable 107-92 victory over the Phoenix Mercury at the Footprint Center on Saturday night.
The Wings showcased their offensive prowess by shooting a season-high 52 percent from the field, making 39 of 75 attempts, and a season-best 50 percent from beyond the arc, sinking 10 of 20 three-pointers. They also achieved season highs in steals with 10, assists with 23, and total points with 107.
Despite the strong effort from Phoenix, with Kahleah Copper contributing 32 points and Diana Taurasi adding 28, Dallas dominated the rebounding battle, outperforming Phoenix 38-25. Additionally, the Mercury’s 19 turnovers proved costly as the Wings capitalized on them, converting them into 25 valuable points.
