ARLINGTON, TEXAS — The Arlington Renegades will travel to Washington D.C. to face the DC Defenders on Sunday, June 2nd at noon E/T at Audi Field.
In week 9, the Defenders defeated the Memphis Showboats with a score of 36-21, while the Renegades secured a 36-22 victory in their most recent game against the St. Louis Battlehawks.
The Renegades have allowed their opponents to score an average of 24.2 points per game, which is 4.4 more than the 19.8 points the Defenders are scoring per contest. Additionally, the Renegades’ defense has given up an average of 321.2 yards per game in 2024.
The Defenders gain an average of 5.1 yards per play, while the Renegades give up an average of 6.0 yards per play.
If Arlington can defeat the Defenders, they will finish the season with a 3-7 record. This would bring a sense of redemption for the Renegades after a tough first half of the season.
