ARLINGTON, TEXAS — The Dallas Wings secured a nail biting victory during Wednesday night’s matchup against the Indiana Fever, 101-93.
An explosive first half, followed by big plays down the line in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, helped the Wings walk away with a hard fought win against dynamic duo Caitlin Clark and Aaliyah Boston of the Fever.
Caitlin Clark led in scoring and dishes for the Fever, snatching an impressive double-double, 24 points and 19 assists, breaking the WNBA record for assists in a game.
Dallas guards Arike Ogunbowale and Odyssey Sims combined for 48 points, as well as contributed 15 assists amongst the two.
The Wings (6-19), leave on a high note after snatching the win, just before heading into the WNBA Olympic break following the upcoming, highly anticipated 2024 WNBA all-star game. Held in Phoenix, AZ, the line up includes four-time WNBA all-star Wings guard, Arike Ogunbowale, and is set to tip off July 20th at 7:30 PM CT. The game will be available for viewing on ABC/ESPN App.
