ARLINGTON, TEXAS – The UFL has announced that Sal Cannella, a tight end for the Arlington Renegades, has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. Cannella had an impressive season, leading the Renegades in catches, yards, and touchdowns.
Cannella led all XFL tight ends in receptions and receiving yards during the 2023 regular season and was the Renegades’ top pass-catcher in their championship campaign. Arlington Renegades will retain Cannella’s rights if he returns to the UFL.
