UNT Looks To Build From Last Season 5-7 Record

DENTON, TEXAS — The University of North Texas (UNT) Mean Green football team is preparing for an action-packed 2024 season.

New Players and Transfers: UNT has strengthened its roster with 74 new players, including 35 transfers, marking the highest number for any FBS program this year. Notably, quarterback Chandler Morris has joined the team after transferring from TCU.

Schedule: The Mean Green are set to challenge formidable opponents such as Texas Tech and Wyoming in the upcoming season.

Expectations: Head Coach Eric Morris is determined to build on last year’s 5-7 record. The team is anticipated to rank ninth in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) preseason media poll. Odds: The Mean Green have been given +2200 odds to clinch the AAC title in the upcoming season.
