SMU Gets The Win With A Thrilling, 29-24 Over Nevada

RENO, NEVADA — In a thrilling showdown in Nevada, the SMU Mustangs staged an incredible comeback to secure a 29-24 victory over the Nevada Wolf Pack in their most recent game. Going into the fourth quarter, the Mustangs were trailing 24-13 but rallied impressively to outscore Nevada 16-0 in the final 8:15 of the game.

The match was filled with standout performances, with SMU’s quarterback Preston Stone delivering an impressive 254 passing yards and RJ Maryland showcasing stellar receiving skills with 162 yards. On the opposing side, Nevada’s Brendon Lewis put on a strong display with 132 passing yards and 77 rushing yards. It was truly an electrifying game with standout individual performances from both teams.
