LEXINGTON, KY — Dallas Trinity FC (4-1-4, 16 points) claimed an exhilarating 3-2 victory over Lexington SC (2-7-2, 8 points) with a 90th-minute goal on Saturday night at Lexington SC Stadium. Midfielder Gracie Brian, a Frisco native, scored the game-winner, her second goal of the season, capping off a dramatic comeback.
Reflecting on the win, Head Coach Pauline MacDonald said, “Tonight was special. Winning like this shows our team’s fight and determination. We’ve been turning draws into wins, proving we’re finding ways to finish strong.”
Brian’s goal came just moments after teammates Cyera Hintzen and Jenny Danielsson scored their first goals of the season. Hintzen, who also assisted Brian’s goal, scored in the 81st minute, with Danielsson equalizing in the 89th off an assist from academy player Sealey Strawn. Brian credited Hintzen for setting up the winning play: “Cyera made it so easy for me to finish, and I just tapped it in.”
The victory extends Dallas’s unbeaten streak to five games, solidifying their third-place position in the USL Super League standings.
Dallas Trinity now heads home to face Spokane Zephyr FC on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7:00 p.m. CT at Cotton Bowl Stadium. “Playing at home is always a great feeling,” Brian said. “We’re focused on building from this win and outworking every team.”
