FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The TCU Horned Frogs rallied in the second half to beat Texas State 76-71 on Tuesday at Schollmaier Arena, overcoming a halftime deficit. Noah Reynolds led TCU (3-0) with 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting, sparking a 17-3 run that put TCU up 68-54 midway through the second half.
Texas State (2-1) kept it close, hitting 85.7% of their free throws. A late 3-pointer by Dylan Dawson cut TCU’s lead to four, but the Frogs held on. Trazarien White and Frankie Collins added 16 and 13 points, respectively.
TCU hits the road next to face Michigan on Friday at 5 p.m. CT on FS1.
