FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas has announced Eric Quill as its new head coach. Quill, a former player and accomplished coach, returns to the organization where he led North Texas SC to the inaugural USL League One Championship in 2019, earning Coach of the Year honors.
“I’m honored to lead FC Dallas into the 2025 season and beyond,” Quill said. “This club values player development and competitive excellence.”
Quill’s coaching journey includes stints with New Mexico United, where he led the team to the 2024 USL Championship Western Conference Semifinals, and as an assistant with Columbus Crew. Known for his player development expertise, Quill has helped shape stars like Ricardo Pepi and Bryan Reynolds.
“Eric’s focus on player growth and championship experience make him the ideal leader for FC Dallas,” said Chairman Clark Hunt.
Quill succeeds interim coach Peter Luccin, who was praised for his leadership during a transitional year.
