DALLAS, TEXAS — The Dallas Mavericks cruised past the Los Angeles Lakers 118-97, marking their fourth win in the last five matchups against Los Angeles. Dallas has now won eight of the last ten meetings between the teams.

The Mavericks held the Lakers under 100 points for the eighth time this season, improving to 8-0 in such games. Dallas was sharp offensively, committing just 10 turnovers—their lowest total since November 10—and converting 18-of-38 (.474) from beyond the arc. The team is 5-0 this season when hitting at least 18 three-pointers.

Quentin Grimes led the charge off the bench with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists, notching his first 20-5-5 game as a Maverick. P.J. Washington Jr. added 22 points and went a perfect 3-of-3 from deep, while Spencer Dinwiddie contributed 19 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Austin Reaves tied his season-high with three steals.

The Mavericks’ 21-point win was their largest over the Lakers since 2017 and the sixth-largest in franchise history.
