FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Despite Vasean Allette’s impressive performance, TCU suffered its first home loss of the season, falling to Utah 73-65. Allette led the Horned Frogs with 19 points and a season-high nine rebounds, marking his seventh consecutive game scoring in double figures.

TCU (9-1 at Schollmaier Arena this season) is now 6-17 all-time against Utah. Head coach Jamie Dixon’s record stands at 497-240, with the Frogs moving to 111-39 overall and 41-33 in Big 12 home games under his leadership.

Notable contributions included Noah Reynolds’ 12 points, ending his streak of leading the team in scoring, and Micah Robinson matching his season-high with 10 points. Brendan Wenzel also scored 12 points in his first double-figure outing since recovering from injury.

TCU limited its turnovers to just eight but couldn’t overcome Utah’s edge, dropping to 6-17 in the series.
