SMU Dominates Stanford in Statement Win at Moody Coliseum

DALLAS, TEXAS — In a dominant performance at Moody Coliseum on February 1, 2025. Both teams entered the game with identical records of 16-5 overall and 7-3 in conference play. These statistics suggested a potentially high-scoring game. 

They beat the Stanford Cardinal with a final score of 85-61. The Mustangs established an early lead, ending the first half ahead 45-25, and maintained their momentum throughout the game. 

Matt Cross, The SMU senior forward contributed 16 points, He also grabbed 6 rebounds and recorded 1 block.

Head coach, Andy Enfield, says since the loss against Lousiville, they have been very focused in practice. This was shown tonight as the Mustangs had their third win in a row. 

SMU will be away playing Virginia Tech on Wednesday. The tip-off will be at 8 pm.
