FRISCO, TEXAS — The Dallas Cowboys have officially set their full coaching staff for the 2025 season under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer. The most notable hires include Klayton Adams as offensive coordinator, Matt Eberflus as defensive coordinator, and Nick Sorensen as special teams coordinator. In total, the Cowboys have brought in 17 new assistant coaches while retaining nine from last season.
Adams joins Dallas after two years as the Arizona Cardinals’ offensive line coach, where he helped build a top-three rushing attack. Eberflus returns to the Cowboys after stints as head coach of the Chicago Bears and defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts, where his defenses consistently ranked among the league’s best. Sorensen arrives from San Francisco, where he served as the 49ers’ defensive coordinator in 2024 and previously coordinated special teams in Jacksonville.
With a mix of experienced NFL coaches and fresh faces, the Cowboys’ revamped staff is set to take the field for the 2025 season.
