FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms with former Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams on a one-year deal. The move will become official when the new league year begins.
Williams, 24, has 2,825 career rushing yards and 12 touchdowns over four seasons in Denver. He shined as a rookie with 903 yards before a 2022 knee injury slowed his progress. In 2024, he posted 789 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 15 games.
Dallas plans to feature Williams in a revamped backfield, adding a physical element to their offensive scheme. The Cowboys may still pursue additional roster upgrades in free agency and the NFL Draft.
