Arlington Renegades Ready to Bounce Back in 2025

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — After winning the 2023 XFL Championship despite a 4-6 record, the Arlington Renegades struggled in 2024, finishing 3-7. However, their strong offensive numbers and close losses suggest a major rebound is on the horizon.

Explosive Offense Returns

Despite the record, Arlington’s offense was elite—ranking third in points per game (24.7) and first in passing grade (87.4). QB1 Luis Perez, one of the UFL’s most polished passers, returns after completing 66.3% of his passes for 7.0 YPA and a 2.5:1 TD:INT ratio in 2024. With top targets Tyler Vaughns, Deontay Burnett, and TE Sal Cannella back, Arlington’s passing attack remains lethal.

New Faces in the Backfield

The running game gets a makeover with Kalen Ballage bringing power and Dae Dae Hunter providing speed. While unproven in this system, they have the potential to create a balanced rushing attack.

Can Arlington Reignite Its Fire?

With an elite passing game and a retooled backfield, the Renegades have the pieces to turn things around. Their -2 point differential and three one-point losses last season show how close they were. If they execute in key moments, a playoff push is well within reach. Don’t count Arlington out in 2025!
