Cowboys Expected to Target Quarterback in 2025 NFL Draft

FRISCO, TEXAS — With Cooper Rush signing with the Ravens, the Cowboys are likely to draft a quarterback for depth behind Dak Prescott.

Top prospects linked to Dallas include:

  • Quinn Ewers (Texas) – Strong arm, local prospect.
  • Tyler Shough (Louisville) – 6’5″ QB with solid 2024 stats but already 26.
  • Kyle McCord (Syracuse/Ohio State) – Led nation in passing yards last season.

Dallas has also been rumored to explore a trade for Patriots QB Joe Milton III. With Prescott’s injury history, securing a reliable backup will be a priority.

She was also a member of FOX Sports University's winning team that created a marketing campaign for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
