NEW YORK, NY — The Dallas Mavericks dominated the Brooklyn Nets in a commanding 120-101 victory on Sunday night, thanks to an unexpected scoring surge from Naji Marshall. The forward delivered a season-high 22 points off the bench, providing a crucial spark for Dallas as they cruised past Brooklyn.
Marshall, who has steadily carved out a role in the Mavericks’ rotation, shot efficiently and contributed on both ends of the floor. His energy and defensive presence helped Dallas establish an early lead that they never gave up.
P.J. Washington and Spencer Dinwiddie each finished with 16 points, Brandon Williams added 15, and Kai Jones chipped in 13.
Anthony Davis, in his first game back after missing six weeks due to a groin injury, scored 12 points in 27 minutes. However, Brooklyn struggled, committing 19 turnovers.
With the win, the Mavericks improve to 35-37 on the season and face the Knicks on Tuesday night
