Langford’s Homer Lifts Rangers to 6-4 Win Over Rays

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Wyatt Langford’s clutch two-run homer in the seventh inning led the Texas Rangers to a 6-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday, marking their fourth consecutive win. After jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning, the Rangers saw their advantage slip away when Jacob deGrom allowed a three-run rally in the sixth. Jonathan Aranda’s two-run homer tied the game for the Rays at 4.

Langford’s pivotal blast in the seventh proved to be the difference, securing the Rangers’ win. The series concludes on Sunday at 1:35 p.m., as Rays right-hander Drew Rasmussen faces off against Rangers rookie Kumar Rocker.
