ARLINGTON, Texas — The Rangers stayed hot at Globe Life Field, earning their ninth straight home win with a 5-3 victory over the Angels on Wednesday.
The streak ties the longest in ballpark history (since 2020) and caps the team’s second sweep of 2025. Texas has now won eight straight against Los Angeles — a new franchise record.
At 12-7, the Rangers are tied with the Yankees for the best record in the American League. Their 9-1 start at home matches the best 10-game home stretch in club history (1996).
Kumar Rocker earned his first major league win with a career-best outing: 7 innings, 5 hits, 3 runs, no walks and 8 strikeouts on just 78 pitches. The 25-year-old became the second-youngest pitcher in franchise history to log a 7+ IP, 0 BB, 8+ K line.
Corey Seager crushed his 100th home run as a Ranger and extended his red-hot stretch, batting .452 over his last eight games. Adolis García launched his 125th career homer — his first on a 3-0 count — and added a sacrifice fly.
Leody Taveras ripped a 109.8 mph RBI double and is now hitting .308 at home. Robert Garcia sealed the win with his first career save, striking out Jorge Soler and reaching 100 career innings pitched.
