Rangers Walk Off Dodgers 4-3, Even Series Behind García’s Homer

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Adolis García hit a two-run walk-off home run off Kirby Yates to give the Texas Rangers a 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday, evening their three-game series at one game apiece.

It was the Rangers’ second walk-off win of the season, both by a 4-3 score, and extended their perfect record in one-run games to 6-0. Texas improved to 4-1 on its six-game homestand and is 10-2 at home, matching the second-best 12-game start in franchise history.

Nathan Eovaldi (3-1) allowed three runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out seven. The right-hander reached 1,600 career innings, becoming the 17th active pitcher to achieve the milestone. He ranks second in MLB with a 0.75 WHIP in 2025.

Kyle Higashioka hit his first home run of the season, a two-run shot in the third inning, and finished with two hits. The catcher raised his batting average to .278 over his last three games.

The Rangers’ bullpen tossed three scoreless innings, lowering its ERA at Globe Life Field to 2.49.

The Dodgers (15-7) are now 1-1 on their five-game road trip and have won 13 of their last 19 games against the Rangers, who hold a 24-17 all-time series edge.
