Wings Welcome 2025 Draft Class During City Hall Ceremony

DALLAS — The Dallas Wings introduced their 2025 WNBA Draft class Wednesday during a formal press conference held at Dallas City Hall, spotlighting the franchise’s newest additions alongside city leadership and team executives.

Wings CEO and Managing Partner Greg Bibb, Executive Vice President and General Manager Curt Miller, and Head Coach Chris Koclanes took the stage to welcome the five-member draft class. Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson and City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert were also in attendance, underscoring the city’s support for the team and women’s professional basketball.

Topping the list of new faces is UConn star Paige Bueckers, the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft. The Wings also selected Aziaha James (No. 12, NC State), Madison Scott (No. 14, Ole Miss), JJ Quinerly (No. 27, West Virginia), and Aaronette Vonleh (No. 31, Baylor).

Dallas is aiming to continue its rise in the league with a draft class loaded with athleticism, leadership, and high-level collegiate experience.
