FRISCO, TEXAS — The Dallas Cowboys added size and strength to their offensive front Thursday night, selecting Alabama guard Tyler Booker with the 12th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Booker, a 6-foot-5, 335-pound junior, was a two-year starter for the Crimson Tide and earned All-SEC honors for his dominant play in the trenches. Known for his physicality and disciplined technique, Booker is expected to compete for a starting job on the interior of Dallas’ offensive line.
“Tyler brings the kind of toughness and mentality we want up front,” said Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy. “He’s battle-tested and ready to contribute right away.”
With the selection, Dallas aims to reinforce protection for quarterback Dak Prescott and reestablish the physical identity that once defined its offensive line. Booker’s versatility allows him to fit at either guard spot, adding valuable depth and potential from day one.
Booker is the latest Alabama lineman to make the leap to the NFL, continuing the program’s strong pipeline to pro football.
