Tyler Fountain was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and is no stranger to the sports world. He grew up playing football, basketball, and baseball, yet it turned out that football would be the sport to pay for his education. Fountain attended Arkansas State University his freshman year, where he played football. He later attended Butte community college & Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Fountain finished college with two degrees, an associate in social and behavioral science, and a bachelor’s in strategic communications. He has an on-air personality, is enthusiastic, and is very energetic.
His passion for sports journalism and reporting came from always being
around sports, participating in sports, and understanding that he possesses the skill set and personality to get valuable information out. Fountain is very versatile and can adjust on the fly. His skills consist of sideline reporting, conducting interviews, newspaper editing, writing, and debating.
Fountain was a beat writer for SWOSU sports, and also had his talk show and website for athletes who wanted their voice to be heard. Fountain hopes to gain experience, while also bringing energy and passion to the D210 team.
